“호림박물관 기획전 《금상첨화_비단 위에 더해진 봄꽃》에서 조선시대 자수 공예 유물과 함께 구성 된 작업.
전통 섬유 장식의 정서를, 입체적이고 감각적인 오브제로 확장.
✤ 매화 梅花
Plum Blossom
매화는 겨울의 기다림 끝에서 피어나는 여유의 시간을 상징하는 봄의 형상이다.
가지의 선적인 흐름을 따라 오밀조밀한 붉은 옥석의 리듬을 더해
짧은 봄을 아쉬워하며 꽃을 완상하던 옛 정서를 담았다.
반갑게 피는 봄의 기운을 한껏 즐기는 장면을 통해
절제된 아름다움 속에 깃든 맑은 생기를 드러내고자 했다.
조선 19c, 백자 양각매분 병에 구성.

Following the linear flow of its branches, small red jade stones create a delicate rhythm, evoking the old sensibility of quietly appreciating blossoms during the fleeting spring.
Through this scene of warmly welcomed blooms, the work reveals a clear vitality residing within restrained beauty.
Installed in a 19th-century Joseon white porcelain relief plum blossom bottle.
